South Korean skincare brand SALMON:LAB, under the operation of Corporation Dreamcos, has made its debut in the Polish retail market by partnering with Rossmann Poland. In a significant initial move, 50,000 units were delivered across 120 stores in June 2026. This marks SALMON:LAB’s first major venture into a European mass-market drugstore chain. The brand is not only focusing on Poland but is also enhancing its distribution efforts in the Czech Republic, aiming to establish a stronghold in Central European markets.
Having launched in February 2026, SALMON:LAB has swiftly expanded its footprint across Poland, the Czech Republic, Türkiye, Russia, and several Latin American regions within just six months. The product line is developed and supplied by General Brands, Inc., a subsidiary of Dreamcos, while international marketing and distribution strategies are handled by Dreamcos itself. The brand’s skincare range is centered around PDRN (polynucleotide) derived from salmon, an ingredient celebrated for its benefits in enhancing skin elasticity and barrier protection. The flagship product, the SALMON:LAB VGENE PDRN Ampoule, boasts a concentration of 5,000 ppm of PDRN, making it the highest-concentration product within their current offerings.
The product lineup extends beyond ampoules to include essences, creams, toners, cleansing gel foams, and hydrogel masks, all crafted for daily skincare routines. General Brands has also focused on formulation and fragrance development to mitigate the natural odor linked with salmon-derived ingredients. By gaining a presence in Rossmann’s physical retail stores in Poland, SALMON:LAB moves from relying primarily on cross-border online sales to a more tangible retail experience. The company plans to expand store coverage and refine product assortments and brand positioning to suit European markets.
A representative from Dreamcos emphasized the strategic importance of Poland and the Czech Republic for their Central European expansion, with Rossmann serving as a well-established retail channel to introduce their products to new consumers. Dreamcos’ broader portfolio not only includes SALMON:LAB but also other brands like DUFT&DOFT and NOLIE, alongside its expansive beauty and lifestyle operations. This strategic expansion signals Dreamcos’ commitment to growing its international presence and tapping into new consumer bases.
