Expressing concern over international agreements, Nawrocki reiterated his opposition to the European Union’s Mercosur agreement, arguing that it could harm Polish farmers and agricultural output. He also criticized the EU Green Deal, urging for more attention to be paid to the concerns of Poland’s rural populace. Nawrocki has proposed referendums on climate policy and the Green Deal, intending to amplify farmers’ voices. However, he criticized senators for dismissing these proposals and urged them to be more receptive to the needs of rural communities.
